Engage

The entrance foyer connects the parlor and History Lab exhibit, providing a pleasant space for mingling
The original parlor is used as a meeting and program space

Solitude-Fraction is a collaborative space for learning, engaging, and creating inclusive community.  In addition to the exhibits and recording studio, we have indoor and outdoor space that can be reserved for programming and activities that correspond to the mission and purpose of the Solitude-Fraction site.

The 25-person conference room has configurable tables and chairs, and a large screen connected to a computer for hybrid meetings, webinars, and film viewings.

Because the Solitude-Fraction Houses are historic buildings, we must limit the number of visitors who can be in either space at any time.  We recommend you contact us in advance if you plan to visit with a group.

To reserve the conference room, the recording studio, or outdoor space, please send a message to Solitude-Fraction@vt.edu. Please include your contact information, the date and time for the reservation, and the purpose of the request.  You will be contacted within 48 hours.
