Special Viewing of "Olancho" Directed By Alumnus Christopher Valdes ’10

Join us for a special showing of Olancho; a powerful new documentary from director/producer and VT alumnus Christopher Valdes. Valdes will discuss his enlightening and thrilling experiences in Honduras, as well as the process of making the film. Olancho follows the lives of a group of musicians from a small town in Honduras, as they make a living creating music for the dangerous drug cartels there. Their music glorifies the traffickers who have destroyed their country, and who sometimes threaten the lives of their loved ones. But in a world where the cartels wield the most power, do the musicians have any other choice?

Co-Producer/director and alumnus, Christopher Valdes ’10
