Devin Ketchum

Information Technology Manager

Devin started his employment at Virginia Tech with the Instructional Technology Team in the College of Engineering Dean’s Office as a GA. Later, he was hired part-time as an Instructional Technology Service Specialist. More recently he was hired on part-time with the Office for Inclusion and Diversity, working concurrently with the College of Engineering. Now, he is working as the Information Technology Manager for the Office for Inclusion and Diversity, focusing mainly on the CCC and OID websites.

Devin has an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Oklahoma State University and a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from Virginia Tech.

Devin along with his wife, Qualla, have a little boy named Yona. Devin is a citizen of the Delaware Tribe of Indians in Oklahoma and a member of the Red Fire Singers, a local drum. He has been a part of the Native at Virginia Tech student group and the indigenous community at Virginia Tech since Fall 2016. Devin’s hobbies include bead working such things as earrings, bracelets, and moccasins and creating technological projects.
