‘Reaching Back to the next generation: The InclusiveVT Difference”
Sankofa is a new program, launched by Student Opportunities and Achievement Resources (SOAR) program, to create a tight connection between Black students and alumni. It began in the summer of 2021 at Black College Institute (BCI) with a series of alumni-to-student mentoring discussions.
The Business Alumnus in Residence program was developed in partnership with BK Fulton, award-winning filmmaker, & Author, BK Fulton, is founder of one of the largest independent film production companies on the East Coast, is our 2021 inaugural “resident.” Mr. Fulton is visiting the Virginia Tech campus to meet in person with several student groups served by the Office for Inclusion and Diversity, the Creativity and Innovation Living Learning Center, and Pamplin.
