Association, Matt Winston Jr. hopes to connect with a broader array of alumni than ever. Winston has had the opportunity to work with people in higher education-from colleges large and small, public and private and he still believes he graduated from the best institution on the planet.

How to Get Involved

The Virginia Tech Alumni Association provides the opportunity to participate in your college homecoming, class reunion or other events. Plan on attending events today and stay connected.

Attend multicultural alumni programs and events.

Become active in your local alumni chapter today.
Connect with fellow Hokies where you live. Chapters are the communication link between alumni and the university and provide many opportunities to participate in events and programs within your local community.

There are about 7,451 living African American and Black Virginia Tech alumni.

American/Native Indian

There are about 481 living American/Native Indian Virginia Tech alumni.

Asian/Pacific Islander

There are about 16,039 living Asian/Pacific Islander Virginia Tech alumni.

Ex Lapide

Ex Lapide (Latin for “Out of Stone”) is a free Virginia Tech alumni society for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning and alumni and their allies.

Hispanic/Latino Alumni

There are about 3,340 living Hispanic and Latino Virginia Tech alumni across the U.S.

Strong Together

The Strong Together Initiative is a new campus-wide effort to promote the values set forth in the Virginia Tech Principles of Community.
